Crosby HG-226 Eye & Eye Turnbuckles
The Crosby HG-226 Eye & Eye Turnbuckles are precision-engineered for inline tensioning in lifting, rigging, and structural applications. Featuring forged elongated eyes, they allow for easy connection to shackles or other hardware while reducing stress at critical points. Each component is hot-dip galvanized and heat-treated to deliver dependable performance in demanding environments.
Key Features Forged and heat-treated construction: quenched and tempered or normalized end fittings; normalized body.
Elongated eye design allows a shackle one size smaller to pass through for easier rigging integration.
Modified UNJ threads on end fittings for improved fatigue life; body uses UNC threads.
Hot-dip galvanized finish provides excellent corrosion resistance.
Fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5× Working Load Limit (WLL).
Lock nuts available for all sizes.
5:1 design factor; proof load is 2.5× WLL.
