High-Strength Synthetic Ropes
Cortland
Sealinkers supplies Cortland in India, offering high-performance synthetic ropes and slings. Cortland’s flagship Plasma 12×12 is, in Cortland’s own description, a 12-strand rope in which each strand is in turn a 12-strand construction. That build is used from 1-5/8 in through 8-1/4 in diameter; below that the product is Plasma 12-Strand, a 12×1 braid. Since a 2023 acquisition, Cortland operates alongside sister company Tufropes (also supplied by Sealinkers) under the Cortland International group. Sealinkers brings this advanced technology to Indian offshore and heavy-lift sectors.

Why specify Cortland
High Strength-to-Weight
Strand-on-strand construction and a published 5:1 design factor, at a fraction of the weight of the steel wire rope it replaces for the same break load.
Ease of Handling
7-8 times lighter than steel wire rope, reducing fatigue and improving safety.
Low Creep
Minimal elongation under load ensures precision and stability in critical lifts.
