RoRo Bridge Lift

Roll-on, Roll-off (or Ro-Ro) ferries are special vessels that can ply on the sea. Passenger and commercial vehicles can drive onto these ferries and parked at special vehicle decks on the ferry. These ferries, which are commonplace in many parts of the world, can accommodate both passengers and vehicles, like trucks, buses or trailers.

The Ro-Ro Bridge was a key to bring down the travel time between Gujarat’s Gogha and Dahej ports – which are 340 km apart -from 7 hours to just 2.5 hours (inclusive of the time taken to drive from Bharuch to Dahej port and from Gogha port to Bhavnagar). A project completed at record time. It was an honour for sealinkers to participate with making this vision a reality!
